The first aspect of Connections Entertainment has always been DJing. D_Cas is our founder and CEO, and he is backed by more than 18 years of DJ experience. He started his career at Virginia State University in the mid 90s and quickly went from small campus parties to owning his own nightclub within 3 years of being in the business. 

With the help of his DJ mentors and close friends, his nightclub became the biggest in the central Virginia area. In 1999, D_Cas left Virginia for a new life and career in Atlanta, Georgia. There, he started working in radio on Atlanta's community radio station WRFG 89.3FM. His show, The Casual Conversation Show, became the #1 overnight mix show for 5 years.

In 2005, he made the transition to commercial radio in Macon, Georgia, where he was the morning show DJ, mix show director, and DJ for the Saturday night mix show, The Spin Cycle. During this time, he also concentrated on clubs and special events in Atlanta. One of his major sponsors has been Red Bull, since joining the Red Bull Music academy in 2002. D_Cas has spun in almost every club in Atlanta and continues to rock parties and events. He has also been headlining parties around the country and around the world. DJ D_Cas considers himself The Xperience because of his versatility when playing parties. He believes in giving the crowd something different every time he plays.

In 2001 he started Connections Entertainment originally as a DJing and group travel company. The company traveled to over 10 carribbean and international destinations with 10-30 people in various groups and DJ D_Cas always performing at the destination, entertaining his group and attracting the local crowds. These experiences start to create international followings.

With the turn of the economy, the group travel part of Connections Entertainment ends and they started focusing on DJ equipment, sound & lighting, and video. Connections Entertainment provides a number of DJs in the Atlanta area DJ equipment on a regular basis. They have also been setting up sound and lighting productions for various events, parties, and corporate functions. We only rent and use industry standard equipment. We also have the best rates in the metro-Atlanta area.
