DJ SERVICES....... DJ D_CAS
The first aspect of Connections entertainment has always been DJing. D_Cas is the founder and CEO
of Connections so of course the djing services would be phonominal.
DJ D_Cas has over 13 years of DJ experience. He started his career at Virginia
State University in my mid 90's. He quickly went from small campus parties to owning his own nightclub within 3
years of being in the business. With the help of his dj mentors and close friends his nightclub became the
biggest in the central Virginia area. In 1999 D_Cas left Virginia for a new life and career in Atlanta, GA. There
he started working in radio on Atlanta's community radio station WRFG 89.3FM. His show, The Casual Conversation
Show became the #1 overnight mixshow for 5 years. In 2005 he made the transition to commercial radio in Macon, GA where he
was the morning show DJ, mix show director, and DJ for the Saturday night mix show, The Spin Cycle. During this
time he has also concentrated on clubs and special events in Atlanta. One of his major sponsors has been Red Bull
since joining the Red Bull Music academy in 2002. Some of his long runs have been with Dave & Busters for 4 years and SaBor
Lounge for 1 year. D_Cas has spun in almost every club in Atlanta and continues to rock parties and events. He
has also been doing parties around the country and around the world. His destination resume includes Puerto Rico, Brazil,
Dominican Republic, Mexico, London, and Bahamas. Soon to come are Tokyo, Okinawa, and Austrailia.
DJ D_Cas considers
himself The Xperience because of his versatility when playing parties. He believes in giving the crowd something different
every time he plays. He can play Hip Hop, House, Reggae, Old School, GoGo, Pop, R&B, Rock, Latin, African, Top 40,
Techno, Country and anything else you can think of. He is the Xperience.
DJ LESSONS
We now offer DJ Lessons for all aspiring DJs. No experience neccessary. All you need is the
ambition to learn. Lessons are held in 5 week sessions available on Tuesdays at 6pm and Saturdays 9am, 11am, 1pm.
DJ Classes:
Basic DJ Lessons: 5 weeks consisting of basic DJ knowledge, equipment, mixing, blending, song selection,
and parties.
Intermediate DJ Lessons: 5 weeks of consisting of developing DJ skills, scratching, beat juggling, and Serato.
Apprenticeship:
Hands on studying under DJ D_Cas or another Urban Legend DJ as they do their weekly parties and events.
Basic
& Intermediate Lessons are $40 for each 2 hours session or $175 if the 5 week session is paid all at once. For availlability
